We’ve been reporting that Blizzard was planning a Diablo 2 Remastered version, similar to Warcraft 3 Reforged. Those who never experienced the classic games would have had a chance, and those who already have would get a reworked version. The announcement didn’t happen at BlizzCon 2019. It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the PlayStation Plus version of Driveclub. The racer which had originally been marketed as a PlayStation 4 launch title, then subsequently pushed back with the release of the game, before ultimately being put on hold due to technical problems, is still being worked on according to Evolution Studios. On June 1 a patch for the game is being released, and it’s essentially replacing and upgrading the servers that provide racers the ability to perform online challenges....

Tabletop terrain giant Dwarven Forge has launched another Kickstarter based on Wildlands. DayZ has today launched its experimental update 1.18 on PC platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. We already had a lot of clues about what Hideo Kojima was doing in his studio. The legendary game developer was teasing with pictures of some things about his next title. Death Trash launches today for PC on Steam as an early access game. However, one of the game’s developers has revealed that the launch was almost delayed. After weighing up how much of the game was ready to go, they stuck to their guns, unlike many developers this year. Developer Stephan Hövelbrinks posted on Twitter today that the main questline in Death Trash ends rather unceremoniously at some point in this early access version....

At the time of writing, Diablo Immortal cinematic trailer has over 390,000 dislikes on YouTube with just around 15,000 likes. This is just one of the signals that the mobile game’s reveal hasn’t worked as someone at Blizzard might have hoped. Anyway, lead designer Wyatt Cheng isn’t really disappointed nor surprising, as he believes this is “totally understandable.” He explained his reasoning on the matter in an interview with VG247.com this weekend at BlizzCon 2018....
