Prominent games industry insider Geoff Keighley reached out to Bioware and EA concerning the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake. The EA spokesperson replied by dodging the question. Instead of outright answering, the studio namedropped existing Star Wars titles and stated that they look forward to creating more experiences. The spokesperson’s dodgy statement potentially points to EA and Bioware’s lack of involvement in the project. Dennis Thomas, an original member of Kool and the Gang, has died at the age of 70, according to Deadline. He died in his sleep on Saturday in New Jersey in the township of Montclair, according to a spokesperson for Thomas. The spokesperson also put out a statement: No cause of death has been announced for the co-founder of Kool and the Gang. An original member of the fresh to death Kool and the Gang, Dennis was known as the quintessential cool cat in the group, loved for his hip clothes and hats, and his laid-back demeanor....

With the long-awaited release of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen comes the addition of a new destination of Savathun’s Throne World. As with any destination in Destiny 2, Savathuns Throne World comes with several new themed weapons for Guardians to hunt for and collect. One of those weapons is the Fel Taradiddle, a lightweight frame combat bow that draws fast and hits hard. Being a Throne World weapon, Fel Taradiddle also comes with the Psychohack origin trait which lowers your enemy’s damage output once you hit them with the bow....

Has Bungie turned the corner on Destiny 2 with their latest update? Bungie has pushed a new update to Destiny 2. In the “Go Fast” Update 1.1.4 the developers have tweaked a number of different settings in the game to make players faster and more powerful. In it you’ll find a number of changes to both the PvP and PvE aspects of the game. They’re calling it the “Go Fast” update because they’ve made some pretty large changes across the Titan, Hunter, and Warlock classes in terms of how each class plays with changes to things like movement speed, special abilities, and many other aspects of the characters....

PvP is getting a serious overhaul with Season 19 in Destiny 2. The sci-fi looter shooter is not only adding new maps, rewards, and matchmaking changes but also adding a whole new competitive scene called Competitive Division. The revelation was made during the TWAB on November 17, 2022. The Crucible’s Ranked mode is getting a complete overhaul beginning with Season 19 by removing the Glory playlist and including Competitive Division as its replacement....
