Destiny 2 players who are looking to grind out this week’s Faction Rally for new gear will be disappointed, as only one new weapon will be available, according to Bungie. When the Faction Rally went live yesterday, players began to report a lack of new gear from Faction Engrams. Today, Bungie has explained just why that is, and the explanation is something of a head-scratcher. A post on the Bungie forums explains that five new weapons have been added for Factions in Season 2 of the game, but they will only be available over the course of the entire season, which is set to last another few months....

Destiny 2 has launched update 3.2.1.1 on all platforms, so here’s all that’s been changed and added with this patch. Early Access Test also announced Blizzard Entertainment revealed, in an official announcement on the developer’s site, the release date of both the Early Access Test and Open Beta Test of Diablo 2: Resurrected, which will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One. Xbox Series X/S, and PCs. According to the developers, those that have already pre-purchased the game will be able to test their might on the Early Access test, scheduled to take place from August 13 to August 17....

The last time we heard Dead Island 2 was still in development was in 2018. Four years later, we’re hearing the same thing, but this time more details have been reported. The alleged information comes from Tom Henderson, a well-known games leaker on Twitter. Henderson previously reported that the next Call of Duty would still be a cross-generation game and that a Skull & Bones internal beta is happening soon. The newest report is on Dead Island 2, which “a couple of sources have been able to play,” according to Henderson....

During a recent interview, Hidetaka Miyazaki has shared a comment about a possible Demon’s Souls remaster. Fans have been waiting news about such remaster for ages, since the game’s the only one in the series that’s solely playable on PS3 and not any other modern platform. Interestingly, Miyazaki claimed he’s open to the idea that the game could be remastered by another studio, although he doesn’t want to directly work on it....
