Get some training in before time’s up Dead or Alive 6 was recently delayed to March 1, but fans can get some early hands-on time with the game right now if they want. Starting today, PS Plus subscribers can download and play the Dead or Alive 6 beta through the PlayStation Store. During the summer of 2020, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise launched exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. While still rocking that trademark Swery65 style, the game had some serious technical problems on the Switch. It’s hard to say if more powerful hardware would improve those issues, but it looks like we’ll be finding out the answer to that question soon. Yoshinori Ono, the famed producer at Capcom, has provided a rare statement about the state of the development process on Deep Down, the infamous PlayStation 4 exclusive which had been announced at the reveal event of the console and never seen around after that. Ono has reckoned that the development team on the project has been disbanded and that Capcom is doing all kinds of different stuff right now with those resources, but also that the IP is still there, and there are chances that it could be recovered anytime soon....

In Demon’s Souls on the PS5, there are two blacksmiths the player can meet. One is called Blacksmith Ed, and the other is Blacksmith Boldwin; both of them can provide players with various weapon services like crafting, selling, and upgrades. Blacksmith Boldwin is relatively easy to find as he is already at the nexus when you start the game, but to discover where Ed is, you will need to get to the Stonefang Tunnel level....

The Dawning sees the return of a fan favorite mode in the form of Mayhem. Mayhem is a place where the standard rules of the Destiny world, and the Crucible, no longer apply. Instead, you have a frantic dash between players as they unleash enough abilities to wipe each other off the server. It is directly correlated to the new Duality Dungeon and is extremely cool because, unlike other Triumphs, Mind Heist will make your grind for Heartshadow a lot less… well, grind-y. Once you have collected all 12 Repressed Memories in the Duality Dungeon, you’ll have achieved the Mind Heist Triumph and the Heartshadow Exotic Sword drop rate will increase....

Developer Tiny Roar released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming sci-fi action-adventure game XEL. XEL is inspired by The Legend of Zelda series and features an over-the-top view similar to 2D Zelda games. The trailer was revealed on the publisher, Assemble Entertainment’s official YouTube channel. It showcases the world of XEL and some of the characters you will meet, as well as gameplay mechanics, specifically the time-bending abilities. The trailer ends with the statement, “Unravel the secrets of XEL,” before an ominous track plays....

Disney Infinity 3.0 was officially announced earlier this morning and is set to feature quite a few new characters for fans. Namely those of the Star Wars universe. As announced earlier today, Disney Infinity 3.0 will feature three Star Wars themed playsets, Twilight of the Republic which features characters and story elements from Episodes 1-3 that can be played with Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Darth Maul. Then there is Rise Against the Empire, which is set during the original trilogy and featuers Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader....

Level up as fast as you can. With the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, everyone is getting reset back to level one. This makes sense since players will need to unlock a whole new slew of weapons and attachments. However, something that makes this process easier in Modern Warfare 2 is the ability to use double XP tokens for your overall level and weapon level.
