Static Shock is returning in 2021 in comic book form and will be published by the reborn Milestone Comics. The announcement, and plenty more, came during the DC FanDome Hall of Heroes stream. Milestone will be apart of DC Comics beginning in 2021. Today Disney announced that it will be pushing forward with the Epic Mickey franchise, with Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. The game will feature quite a few tweaks to the original Epic Mickey formula, which include drop-in drop-out cooperative play, voice acting for the characters, and even musical numbers. “I’m such a geek about musicals,” franchise creator Warren Spector said at GDC. “I love the co-op and next-gen stuff, but for me, when a character breaks into song, which they do on a regular basis in this game, it’s magic....

A new Disney Plus basketball show has been ordered! The basketball drama series titled “The Crossover” is based on the book of the same name by Kwame Alexander. The upcoming series also has NBA star LeBron James boarding as executive producer. The show is currently in pre-production after it was ordered to pilot on Disney Plus in March 2021. The Skylanders series recently revealed their latest entry in the series with Skylanders SuperChargers. Many new competitors have joined the toys to life market and Nintendo was one of them with their amiibo. One would not have imagining any of them being combined, but Nintendo and Skylanders have done just that. During this morning’s Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that a special Donkey Kong and Bowser Skylanders/amiibo/hybrid would be coming. Fans can get their hands on Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ for the Nintendo Switch on Sept. 28.
