With the PlayStation 4 comes the new DualShock 4 controller, and aside from Sony redesigning the controller to be better used with shooters, there’s also the touchpad functionality that developers need to take into consideration. While Battlefield 4 players on the PS4 will likely take advantage of these design choices to have a better experience on the platform, DICE is still hammering out ways for them to implement the touchpad on the DualShock 4....

The time to challenge the mysterious Maguu Kenki has finally arrived! Act III of Genshin Impact’s Midsummer Island Adventure is out, bringing quite a few familiar faces to the Golden Apple Archipelago. Turn your game clock between 06:00-08:00 to begin the Dodo-King of the Sea: Lying in Wait quest and watch the opening cutscene. Afterwards, glide over to the island north of Pudding Isle to reunite with Kaeya and Diluc, who claim that Albedo and Razor are also somewhere on the islands....

Apex Legends Mobile is eerily similar to its PC and console counterpart, with it sharing a number of Legends, maps, and even modes. Gotham Knights is an apparent spiritual successor to Rocksteady’s critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series of games, and it has a lot in common with its predecessors. The game casts you as a member of the Batfamily tasked with patrolling the streets of Gotham to take down criminals, while also working to stop a large-scale conspiracy in the wake of the death of Bruce Wayne/Batman. However, the game differs in one key way; it features a cooperative multiplayer mode for up to two players....

Still beating. Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma is set to have its time in the limelight once again, this time thanks to it getting an animated series on Netflix. There’s not much info on the adaptation for the time being, but it will be produced by Sublimation (009 Re:Cyborg, Tokyo ESP), and will likely follow the same storyline as the source material if the description is any indication: Based on a world-famous action RPG set in an open world, Dragon’s Dogma from Capcom will be brought to life as a Netflix original anime series....

Alongside the retail release of Driveclub, PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be getting a limited version of the game. One that’s starting to sound more like a demo, or gateway into buying the game proper. “The PlayStation Plus Edition hasn’t changed. It’s hardly a demo because you get access to all of the game’s features online and offline. The difference is that you only have 10 cars and you can only race in one country(which gives you access to 5 tracks with 11 distinct variants)....

Create your own ability combo Abilities in Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance come in all shapes and forms. You can go almost invisible with Drizzt’s Blink, Taunt enemy groups with Bruenor, you get the idea. You start very limited at first, with only two abilities per character, and actually for a good while as you will be using these two skills for most of the early to mid game, but your toolkit expands as you progress through the new action-RPG title....

A new update is available for Dark Alliance. Update 1.07 has arrived for Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. This update is currently rolling out across all platforms with varying file sizes depending on your system. It’s 1.5 GB on Steam, but Xbox Series X players will have to download a 4.7 GB update file. This update appears to adjust the damage values for certain things like poison and bleeding....

Five free items plus a week long community event Techland and Facepunch Studios collaborated on a Rust crossover DLC for Dying Light. The collaboration brings two worlds of survival together in the free update. The update is live now on PC, but consoles players will have to wait until mid-May to explore the event. The free Rust DLC contains five new weapons and armor, plus a new buggy skin for those who own the Followers expansion pack....

Everyone remembers the battle scenes from Braveheart. The ones where two armies of metal (or kilt) clad figures square off, before charging at each other into a maelstrom of carnage. These epic scenes were what immediately came to mind as I played For Honor at E3 2015. The game had a surprise announcement during Ubisoft’s E3 press conference. Being a totally new IP, it was odd to see it without having had something leak, or any kind of rumors ahead of time....

Dead by Daylight has its newest DLC wave coming in, Chapter 25: Project W which features additional Resident Evil characters coming to the massive asymmetrical horror game’s roster. Its additions include 3 playable characters, some great new perks and powers, and additional ways to terrorize survivors as Resident Evil’s most iconic antagonist. There have been significant leaks covering this latest update, with lots of juicy info indicating cool ways to enjoy the game as either a DBD or Resident Evil fan....

Dead by Daylight has just launched update 5.2.2 on all platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with today’s patch. Today’s update, like many for Dead by Daylight, doesn’t change a whole lot in terms of flashy things. Instead, this is pivoted to be more of a bug fix update, ensuring the overall health of the experience is up to par. There is one notable change though, with pallets having their visuals reverted to their previous state before a recent update....

Destiny 2 will be undergoing server maintenance today, as the game prepares for the arrival of the much wished for cross save feature.
