Things have change ever so slightly this year in how the competition is scored. Lore wise, the Guardian Games is happening during a moment of peace in the Tower, as a deal has been struck with Caiatl. Zavala has decided it’s time to party, we assume because he thinks the Titans can win for the second year in a row....

Update: From the day one patch, it seems that ultrawide is not fully supported. All it does is zoom into the screen, making it even harder to see enemies and the like, instead of your character being in the middle of the screen and be able to see most things around you. Rather, you are at the bottom of the screen, meaning you cannot see a thing below you—making it terrible to play for an ARPG....

The PlayStation 4 will see a rather large day one patch to add features to the system, but if you want to be primed and ready when you get home from picking up your console, you might do well to download the PS4 update ahead of release. The update can be downloaded from the PlayStation Support Site, and can be saved to a flash drive for installation without needing to download the patch when the flood gates open on the PlayStation Network....

Media Molecule has now released a pretty big update to Dreams in terms of new content. If you are playing the game on PS4, the patch size is only 161.7 MB. It’s not a huge update in terms of size, but there are interesting new features added. Media Molecule says the game will have more quality of life updates as well as many bug fixes ironed out too....

A new Druid spell from Hearthstone‘s next expansion has been unveiled. With just a few days left of card reveal season expect them to arrive thick and fast as The Boomsday Project draws ever closer. Juicy Psychmelon is a four mana Druid spell. It draws a seven, eight, nine, and 10 mana cost minion from your deck—presuming you have one to be drawn of course. Four mana for four cards drawn seems pretty powerful, but obviously getting them out of your hand could prove tricky....

Drizzt Do’Urden may be the most well-known Drow in Dungeons and Dragons lore and he’ll soon be a playable video game character. The Game Awards announced the team behind D&D is partnering with Tuque Games for Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance. While gaming at the table may be the best way to experience Dungeons and Dragons, there are a lot of video games around the property. Dark Alliance will be the first co-op D&D game that will have players control Drizzt and his fellow companions....

An essential parkour move is strangely absent at the start of the game. Sliding is a core aspect of parkour, and many Dying Light players expect to be able to slide immediately when playing Dying Light 2. However, sliding is not a default ability in this sequel. Dying Light 2 withholds multiple parkour moves that most games would give the player right from the beginning and instead makes them unlockable skills that can only be obtained later in the game....
