Two minutes of gameplay footage from Deus Ex: Human Revolution for PS3 was shown at PAX East this weekend in Boston. The panel was hosted by the game’s art director Jonathan-Jacques Belletete where he explains some of the features of the upcoming game. More importantly we get a better look at the game running in real time, albeit off screen. The game has been hit was delays as of late, but an official release date has been confirmed just recently....

Sony expands its investments in gaming related companies. After a whirlwind month for Discord that saw speculation that the gaming-centric chat platform would be gobbled up by Microsoft, it appears that the company has gone a different route. While the rumors on Microsoft’s purchase were squashed a while back, it looks like there were multiple suitors, specifically Sony. The electronics giant has taken a stake in Discord via a Series H funding round....

This Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) lead Star Wars project pulls Mon Mothma to join the far far away adventures. Genevieve O’Reilly returns to play Mothama as Lucasfilm recently confirmed other new additions to the Disney+ show. If memory serves, all the characters in Rogue One got obliterated in the end....

Classic video games based on Disney’s Aladdin and Lion King appears to be heading onto modern consoles. In the early 90s, Disney released several video games based on their hottest properties at the time. There was an Aladdin game that was initially released on the Sega Genesis in 1993. Destiny 2’s Guardian Games are happening right now, but the competition between Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks isn’t the only thing on Bungie’s mind. The stream opened with some interesting news, as the developers briefly hinted at new elements that will be coming to the game with the new DLC. Destiny 2’s update 2.8.1 has arrived, bringing plenty of bug fixes. Felwinter’s Helm has been fixed for Warlocks, which is nice, as it was the one new Exotic they had this season. Seasonal mod sockets have been added to all armors available from world drops, which is great news, as it increases the relevance of those drops considerably. Despite the Guardian Games launching today, there is precious little mention of it in the patch notes, so it looks like we are just going to have to dive into the game to find out what is going on there....
