The comedy episodes continue in Dragon Ball Super. Episode 69 shouldn’t be taken too seriously, although some fans might not like it. If you are unfamiliar with the Dr Slump manga, this entire episode will go over your head. Dr Slump is a manga also made by Akira Toriyama and it’s pure comedy. Before I talk about the recap, let’s just say this entire episode is a gag. It even breaks the 4th wall many times so don’t worry if you thought Vegeta looked really weak here....
Skyrim Director, Todd Howard, gave the opening keynote address to DICE attendees last night. In it, the developer also showed off an internal Bethesda Game Studios video of the team tinkering with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim prior to launch. During the “Game Jam 2011” the developers at BGS were given a week to throw whatever they wanted into the already crowded world of Skyrim. Sega announced today that Dreamcast games will be making their digital return to gaming via Xbox Live arcade and Playstation Network. Some of the classic titles that were mentioned in the company press release were: Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi. Although we would love to see some other classic like cough Shenmue and Daytona. Sega Rally should be there as well and I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing a little Ecco the Dolphin also....

This year has proven to be difficult when it comes to game development. The pandemic has impacted working conditions for video game developers leading to several game delays. Developer Arkane Studios originally planned to release their upcoming title Deathloop on May 14, 2021. The game will now release on September 14, 2021. Game director Dinga Bakaba announced the delay in a video and press release via Twitter. Bakaba justified the delay by stating: “At Arkane we have a strong vision for Deathloop and we don’t want to compromise on that....
Deathloop is a game about cause and effect: set up something earlier in the day, and you’ll see the consequences of your actions later. Apparently, there’s a special chain of events that players have yet to find. As stated in our Deathloop review, “you need to do a lot of exploring, discovering clues and secrets in Blackreef’s surprisingly dense districts.” It seems we haven’t explored deep enough yet to discover this last remaining secret....
PlayStation VR has been hard to come by since it’s late-2016 launch. The hardware add-on for the popular PlayStation 4 console that was touted to be the device to bring virtual reality to the mass market has apparently done just that. Despite Sony being unable to fulfill demand for the headset, they’ve disclosed sales figures for PlayStation VR and the tallies are totalling close to one million units. According to a recent interview between Andrew House and New York Times, House reveals that Sony was too cautious in estimating the demand for PSVR, leaving many would be buyers either waiting for retail restocks or going to the secondary market to find a headset....

After former business partner Activision Blizzard has been rocked by serious allegations of harassment and workplace bullying and abuse, Bungie has proactively taken steps to make its stand on such issues very public. The company took to Twitter to ensure fans that they were the kind of workplace that is consciously attempting to do better than what sadly seems to be becoming the industry standard. “It’s our responsibility to ensure this type of behavior is not tolerated at Bungie at any level and that we never excuse it or sweep it under the rug,” the statement says....

Disney is responding to criticisms made by Peter Dinklage regarding their remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Dinklage is notably unhappy, and Disney is taking him seriously. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dinklage blasted the announced Snow White remake when appearing on Monday’s episode of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. Dinklage said in the podcast that he was “little taken aback when they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White — but you’re still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs....
