Nintendo’s new mobile IP does well but lags behind its well-established series. Last week, Nintendo, in collaboration with Cygames, released their fifth, non-Pokémon mobile game, Dragalia Lost on Android and iOS. The game has only been released to limited launch markets, including Japan, the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. Thus far, the game has brought in $3.5 million in revenue within its five days of release. That sounds pretty great, however, it trails far behind Nintendo’s other mobile ventures....
The upcoming Dragon Age sequel won’t be releasing on last-gen platforms such as PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, according to GamesBeat. Staff writer Jeff Grub says he’s “confirmed that EA is planning the game only for the new-gen systems,” but neither Electronic Arts nor developer BioWare have publicly confirmed the development. The news originally came from lead player designer Daniel Nordlander’s LinkedIn profile, spotted by Twitter user Faizan Shaikh....
The fight between Hit and Goku proved to be a success for Toei Animation as episode 39 of Dragon Ball Super saw a jump in TV ratings compared to episode 38. Facebook user, Gojiitaaf, shared that the rating for Dragon Ball Super episode 39 and it scored a 7.1 on Fuji TV. This is a jump from the 5.8 rating that episode 38 got. Most of the episodes in the season averaged in the 5 to 6 range so this is a good increase....

New gameplay footage teases a return to form for the Blue Blur. Sonic the Hedgehog fans have had to taper their expectations down since the Sega mascot’s days on the Genesis through the Dreamcast, with the occasional good title such as Sonic Colors making the cut. But overall, 3D Sonic immediately peaked in the Sonic Adventure days and hasn’t truly had something to generate hype for the franchise outside of wonderful efforts in the 2D sphere with Sonic Mania....
