Don’t worry, Deus Ex fans. Square Enix’s cyberpunk ARPG first-person shooter series isn’t dead, it’s just on the backburner, Eidos Montreal’s studio lead explained in an interview with PCGamesN. David Anfossi explained to the gaming website that the Canadian development team is busy working on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, a video game based on Marvel’s The Avengers, and an unannounced third title, so there just isn’t enough time to create a Deus Ex game quite yet....

Capcom’s redemption arc continues. Capcom has been having a fantastic 2019 thus far. Just weeks after reporting strong numbers for Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5 is doing much of the same, now having reached 2 million sales. The news came at the Game Developers Conference, with director Hideaki Itsuno revealing that Devil May Cry 5 already managed to reach this milestone despite it not even being out a full month yet — news that comes just weeks after Capcom confirmed the game now stands as the company’s second-biggest launch on Steam ever....

Battlefield 2042, the next game in EA’s staple first-person shooter franchise, is releasing on October 22. Players will be able to jump into massive multiplayer matches featuring 128 players in total, with 64 players on each side, battling it out for domination. The team working on Battlefield 2024 has a heightened focus on the multiplayer experience. There will be no single-player campaign. Instead, all of the lore will be shared through the many multiplayer maps, and these maps are set to change every season through battle passes....

All in all, this horror movie review is tricky because of one character: Norman Nordstrom. Don’t Breathe 2, an August 2021 horror movie sequel, tries to change its form from its predecessor. There are varying opinions on Anthem’s launch, though they mostly stay in the range of “disappointment” to “utter catastrophe.” Still, some players aren’t ready to give the game up just yet, and according to EA CEO Andrew Wilson, neither is the publisher. Eager fans will have to wait another month. Another day, another delay due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has large chunks of the population working from home, to include Death Stranding studio Kojima Productions. Actually they straight-up closed their doors, which means Kojima and team will not ship the PC port of Death Stranding as scheduled. Death Stranding for PC will now launch July 14th, 2020. In a tweet posted earlier this morning Kojima Productions confirmed the delay, caused by the temporary closure of the studio to ensure the health of their employees....
