Fans of the farming RPG series Rune Factory have been demanding that the developers include same-sex relationships in the game. When the latest installment of the series, Rune Factory 5, was released in Japan, players were disappointed to find that when confessing to a character of the same sex, they were shot down. If a player wanted to marry someone of the same sex, they had to change to the opposite gender....

Sony has recently began a donation program to help the Japan relief effort. Through the PSN, you will now be able to donate a varying amount of money to help out. The SNES Classic drops onto Switch Dec. 18th. Nintendo has announced that Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble, will headline the next set of games coming to the Nintendo Switch Online collection. With the inclusion of Donkey Kong Country 3, subscribers can now play through the entire trilogy. Developed by Rare from 1994-1996, the Donkey Kong Country trilogy is beloved and helped to establish Rare as a studio. In Donkey Kong Country 3, you play as Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong, whom go on a quest to find the missing Diddy and Donkey Kong....

DONTNOD’s collaboration with Bandai Namco has been revealed. DONTNOD Entertainment, the developer most known for 2015’s Life is Strange, just released their new action-RPG Vampyr a few days ago, and they’re not wasting any time making sure they stay on the forefront of gamers’ minds. A free next-gen update for DOOM Eternal launches today for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, adding all manner of visual polish and a performance boost to the acclaimed 2020 high-energy first-person shooter. As publisher Bethesda noted in a news wire published earlier this month, and as repeated during its recent E3 showcase, the next-gen update includes support for ray-tracing, 4K, and up to 120 FPS. Each console benefits from three new modes: a performance mode that favors high frame rates at a cost to resolution; a balanced mode that hits high-fidelity 4K at 60 FPS; and a ray-tracing mode with realistic lighting and reflections....

At the start of the year, BioWare general manager Gary McKay promised an “amazing future” for Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Hopefully that extends to outside studios helping work on the Dragon Age franchise. Kotaku reports that Dragon Age 4’s QA team is unionizing over a combination of concerns. Update 4.6.0 in the game itself. Update 2.15 has arrived for Dead By Daylight and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.
