Booze’Em Up in the Drunken Fist Alcohol can alter the way you perceive the world. The teams over at Eastasiasoft and Deklazon decided to twist that real-life experience into a “totally accurate” Beat’Em Up video game. In Drunken Fist, you play as an inebriated wanderer who is drinking the night away, eventually finding himself in trouble with a collection of obnoxious enemies. By collecting food and alcohol across seven different stages, you’ll have to find your way home amid a wild night of crude encounters and violence....

Electronic Arts is the latest publisher to embrace the $70 pricing trend, having announced that the next-gen version of Madden NFL 21 will raise its launch price on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. With this edition, called NXT LVL, users will be able to get the next-gen version right out of the box, without any need to upgrade from older consoles. EA will also provide additional content for the Ultimate Team mode, even though those have not been disclosed yet....

Loads of new content today Update 2.21 has arrived for DC Universe Online, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. Officially the patch is known as ‘Game Update 112’, although on the PS4 it’s update 2.21. Regardless of the name, the patch should have the same function on all platforms. The main purpose of today’s patch is to add a new episode called ‘World of Flashpoint’....

We’re taking a look at the Exit Strategy, which is one of Destiny 2’s new Ritual Weapons that can be obtained in the Shadowkeep expansion! You’ll need to complete a small quest to obtain this Submachine Gun. Ritual Weapons have replaced the old Pinnacle Weapons that were popular among collectors. These new weapons will no longer have special perks and will instead feature curated rolls. This seems to be a way to keep things more fair across the board, and will make it easier to balance in the future....

Destiny 2’s 17th season is about a month away, and Bungie is looking to make some big changes. New builds and Glaive upgrades are all part of the plan. The latest This Week At Bungie post is a big one, but fortunately it’s broken up into smaller segments. Let’s start with airborne gameplay, which is being enhanced with a new stat. Airborne Effectiveness will be applied to all weapons when relevant (it makes no difference for Swords, for example), though it will be unseen for now....

On a roll after integrating the Reign of Giants expansion into their Early Access co-op game, Don’t Starve Together, Klei Games have released a patch primarily focused on fixing a bug for the developer-made mod Twitch Plays Together. Taking inspiration from 2014’s Twitch Plays Pokemon phenomenon, Twitch Plays Together allows a game to receive commands from viewers while broadcasting on Twitch. Commands use triggers in the environment to affect the player, from giving them butterfingers (forcing them to drop items) to raining frogs on them (that one… makes it rain frogs)....

Prior to its release, Bandai Namco revealed its expectation for Dragon Ball FighterZ to be their strongest selling title this generation. Now not even a week since its initial release, it appears those expectations weren’t too far off the mark. In an announcement, Bandai Namco revealed that Dragon Ball FighterZ total worldwide shipments and digital sales have reached two million, becoming the fastest DBZ title to reach this mark. Though not to make light of this achievement, such a development was to be expected considering all the circumstances surrounding the game....

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for PC doesn’t release until tomorrow, though that hasn’t stopped an ENB graphics mod from already being released for it. After being removed from all digital platforms last year, DuckTales Remastered has miraculously reappeared on numerous storefronts. The game is available once again on Playstation 3, Steam, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One (via backward compatibility.) It’s not the most prolific of titles to have been de-listed, but any creation no longer available for purchase is always unfortunate. Capcom announced they were pulling the game in August 2019, with no reason given....
