A good anti-cheat system is a must for an AAA game; it’s even more critical if we’re talking about EA. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is only a little over two months away from release in Japan and the rest of Asia, but those in the West will not be getting the game at all according to many of the people involved. “Empty Grief” is a Seasonal Challenge in Destiny 2 that tasks Guardians to complete the mission “Sever – Grief” with only a Void subclass and Void, Kinetic, or Stasis weaponry. In other words, players will need to create a competent Void loadout to fulfill this challenge. “Sever – Grief” serves as the third mission in the Season of the Haunted‘s quest, “Bound in Sorrow.” For this quest, Guardians must follow a series of jumping puzzles and defeat Scorn enemies inside the Leviathan to find and defeat the Nightmare of Kethiks....

Trials of Osiris is a 3v3 Crucible mode that tests the true skills of all Guardians across Destiny 2. Fireteams are required to participate in ToS, the main objective to wipe the opposing team in order to win the round. This is essentially Elimination, albeit with much higher stakes. But the true competition comes from Trials “Passage” cards that tally how many wins a fireteam achieved. Long win streaks guarantee some of the best weapons in the game, not to mention major bragging rights....

With the release of Destiny 2 Season of the Lost also came the re-introduction of the fan-favorite Trials of the Nine weapons from year one of the game. Players have been requesting these weapons be added within the Prophecy dungeon for months due to the dungeon Nine theme. Bungie has listened, and not only are the weapons back, but they are back with random rolls, allowing players to aim for that perfect weapon for every activity....

The developers behind the original Dishonored game might be working on a game featuring a fantasy setting, as is indicated by the Linkedin profile of one of its employees. Lisa Charriere, a Senior VFX Artist at Arkane Studios Austin, listed the various projects she has worked on so far on her LinkedIn. The one she is currently working on is an unannounced project in development on Unreal Engine 4 having a fantasy setting....

Disney will close the Splash Mountain ride at Walt Disney World in Florida for a remodel based on The Princess and the Frog. According to USA Today, Splash Mountain will close on January 23rd to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The ride is presently based on Disney’s controversial 1946 movie Song of the South. The new ride will tell a story that takes place after the events of 2009’s The Princess and the Frog, with Tiana having realized her dream of opening a restaurant and wanting to help her community succeed too....

The flux has begun. Doctor Who: Flux, the thirteenth season of the revived Doctor Who series, kicked off with The Halloween Apocalypse, and it threw everything at us but the kitchen sink. Of course, we knew that was going to happen. The Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) herself warned us that we’d face the threat of Weeping Angels and Sontarans in a teaser trailer. Both threats and more showed up in this premiere....

If you are wondering if Back 4 Blood has crossplay, the answer is yes and has already been confirmed by the devs recently. The confirmation comes in the form of a tweet made by the official account of the game. This tweet reads as the following “We’re in this shit together! Enjoy Crossplay and Cross-gen in the #Back4Blood Open BETA with intended support at launch!”. There you have it, Back 4 Blood will have crossplay, and from the horse’s own mouth to boot....
