After being dormant for almost six years, another Electronic Arts-published PGA Tour game is confirmed to be in the works. According to the PGA Tour, it has reached a new, long-term licensing deal with EA to allow this next installment, reportedly named EA Sports PGA Tour, to include the sport’s most popular courses and golfers. Although a release date has not been revealed, the upcoming golf title will be on next-gen consoles and is currently being built on the Frostbite engine....

Electronic Arts may be talking a good game when it comes to taking on the Call of Duty franchise this fall, but analysts believe that’s about all they’ll do. At their E3 press conference, Bethesda announced the first-person shooter Deathloop. This impressive-looking shooter is being developed by Arkane Studios, who is perhaps best known for making Dishonored. Check out the announcement video below if you haven’t already: Set on the fictional island of Blackreef, this mysterious location offers its denizens the ability to die and then come back to life in a continuous cycle (hence the title, Deathloop). You play an assassin trying to kill another assassin on the same island – and that is where the chaos ensues....

The next big patch for Fallout 76 is coming on December 11 for PC. It was scheduled to launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the same date, but Bethesda delayed it to December 13 because the development team asked for some more time to test the patch for the consoles. Evolution Studios has posted up a huge announcement about Driveclub that some DLC will be offered for free plus the long awaited photo mode is coming next week. As announced on Facebook, premium DLC packs for Driveclub will now be offered free for those that purchased the game. This DLC will be available from November 25th. The DLC includes: The Ignition Expansion Pack and Photo-Finish Tour Pack along with two livery packs – will give you a total of five new cars, 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies and 10 new livery items to play with online and offline....

This update fixes a wide array of issues. Update 1.06 has arrived for Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. Dying Light: Bad Blood releases this September on Steam Early Access. Sony announced after its E3 2015 presentation that new DUALSHOCK 4 controllers will be out later this year. They will be PSOne colored. The new DUALSHOCK 4 controllers is the same grey color that the PSOne used. You may have seen them before with the 20th Anniversary PS4 console last year. There is no release date for the grey DUALSHOCK 4 controllers yet. Sony noted they will be available this September in North America, Europe and Asia....

There remains an ongoing debate about whether the games industry needs E3 or not. Many publishers have taken to hosting their own independent showcases in the wake of its absence in 2020, and history is repeating itself this year. In their quarterly conference call, EA alluded to this week as the time frame for an announcement of Battlefield 3 DLC release date. While we haven’t received any word on what might be on the way for EA’s popular shooter, Peter Moore of the company recently explained that they are indeed “working on that”, he explained in a recent interview.
