The world loot pool is the general drop pool, and does not cover specific weapons from specific activities like Strike, Nightfalls, the Crucible, or Gambit. The world loot pool is designed to go hand in hand with the Max Power idea, where all weapons will have a maximum power that they can reach, forcing players to explore different weapons in a process that Bungie is calling “sunsetting”....
