Just over 11 hours after it was first made available to play Destiny’s first Raid has been beaten by a team called PrimeGuard. The six man fire team consisted of players FraserBaws, KingSmaals, McTwidget, nanowatts, psx-Yoshi, and Des_Waffles. Bungie confirmed that they were the first to complete the Raid via this Tweet. Doing some quick math from the post-game report the team killed 5733 enemies, and died 1325 times. The team consisted of two Hunters, three Titans, and one Warlock all at or above level 26....

DICE, the studio behind the Battlefield franchise, is looking toward the future. During a session at Swedish start-up news site BreakIt’s inaugural Game Tech conference, CEO Oskar Gabrielson spoke about the future of the video game industry, as well as some key areas of focus for the studio. One of the CEO’s key messages was that games are entering a democratization process “like film and television.” Citing the impact of 5G technology, which will drastically reduce any amount of latency experienced by users, Gabrielson believes that gaming will be completely cloud-based in the future....

The episode sadly halts in the second half with lots of talking....

At the end of Dragon Ball Super episode 24, we finally saw Goku change to the Super Saiyan Gold Super Saiyan form. To keep it short, we’ll just call him Super Saiyan Blue. In episode 25, another transformation occurs as Frieza turns to his new Golden form. Episode 25 wasn’t as action packed as I would have liked, but it’s great to see how fast they are getting through the Resurrection F saga....

Dragon Ball Super episode 50 was interesting as it gave us some clues about the identity of Black Goku. Episode 51 has a different tone as it explains a bit more about the history between Mai and Trunks. If you liked last week’s episode, you might be slightly disappointed with episode 51 because the action takes a bit of a backseat. This episode however tells us a few more things about the characters in this saga specifically Future Trunks and his relationship with Mai....

EA believes that Battlefield 4 is hot on the heels of the Call of Duty franchise, and have no intention of giving up when it comes to the goal of becoming the number on shooter franchise. This fall Call of Duty and Battlefield 4 will launch within days of one another, and EA is anticipating taking market share from Activision again. “Maybe they weren’t thinking about us much when we made Battlefield 3, but I can tell you, they are thinking about us now,” said EA’s Patrick Soderlund....
