OTX, a global consumer research and consulting firm recently conducted a study about the motion controllers that are likely to be violating our comfort levels of hype in the very near future. The firm found that only eight percent of the Xbox 360’s current market intends to purchase Natal. Furthermore, only six percent of the current PlayStation users plan on purchasing the Move. The tracking study polled a group of 2,000 gamers between May 23rd and June 5th....

Destiny 2’s Iron Banner event is coming back for Season 2 and it begin on January 30th and run until February 6th. Bungie has outlined some changes being made to the Live Event. For this Iron Banner event, new items have been added to engrams you earn from completing challenges for Lord Saladin. Bungie says in their most recent update that there will “definitely be Season 2 weapons in the Iron Banner Engram and we will be adding more in the next event....

Players returning to enjoy Destiny 2’s latest expansion, The Witch Queen, may encounter a “fun” new bug. And no, it’s likely not the doing of Telesto this time around. While progressing through the main campaign of The Witch Queen, players have reported a bug involving two quests, “Stoking the Flame” and “Riding the Storm.” Essentially, players are receiving notifications that the quests haven’t been completed and must be beaten. The bug doesn’t appear to impact progression of any kind and Bungie is aware....

Since its arrival, Destruction AllStars’s player base has shown great distain for a default audio feature that automatically enables voice chat for everyone in a multiplayer lobby — including those using the DualSense’s built-in microphone. Amid the headaches and frustration, developer Lucid Games has now released a hotfix that will halt this madness and more.
