Techland has unveiled its first road map for Dying Light 2, which covers updates for the coming months. This follows the announcement that the game will receive post-launch content for at least five years a few weeks back. For now, it details what we can expect to arrive in the game between release and June. First up, sometime in February, we can expect the Factions-inspired DLC to arrive and then the first Set of Challenges in March, both of which will be free....

It’s been nearly 5 years since the original Dying Light debuted on consoles and PC. Since then, the post-apocalyptic zombie survival game has amassed a rather impressive audience, which means good things on the horizon for next year’s Dying Light 2. While speaking with the Official Xbox Magazine about development on the sequel, game designer Tymon Smektala revealed some updated player numbers for the original game. Upon last report back in 2018, the game had sold more than 13 million copies....

Star Fox Zero, the newly revealed Wii U version of the classic space shooter, will feature a wide array of vehicles according to the reveal trailer. Showing the classic Arwing, along with the returning tank from Star Fox 64, a few other options were shown. A hovering style flying vehicle called the Gyrowing appeared for a bit, with some more flashing by too quickly to tell what they were. This certainly isn’t new for the long running franchise, with the aformentioned Star Fox 64, and a wide variety in later games....

While Dead by Daylight is a horrific multiplayer experience, its fans have given over $1.5 million to mental health research centers in Canada, the U.S., and around the world. Behaviour Interactive, the developer of the game, has announced the news today. To help celebrate their 30th anniversary, Behaviour Interactive has provided this astonishing amount of cash to the Brain and Behaviour Research Foundation across 16 centers across Canada. This was raised through the in-game purchase of The Charity Case Collection, which has 26 cosmetic items for characters like Claudette, Meg, Dwight, Jake, Nea, The Wraith, The Huntress, and The Nurse....

The Dead Space series may find you facing off against enemies that are far from living, but even after the third entry in the franchise had very disappointing sales, the series itself still appears to have a pulse. It certainly hasn’t been long since we saw the last entry in the series with Dead Space 3 in 2013, so usually not hearing anything by now wouldn’t be too uncommon. However, there were only two years separating the last two games, so you would think we’d have at least heard if a game was in development by now, which led to many thinking the series has been put on ice due to the aforementioned poor sales....

No quests or grinds, just plain luck. The Monte Carlo originally made its debut as a PlayStation exclusive Exotic weapon in the original Destiny way back in 2014, but now it has returned in all its glory to Destiny 2 with the release of the Shadowkeep expansion. Sadly, there isn’t a predetermined way to get the Monte Carlo because it’s only available as a random drop. There isn’t any associated Exotic quest and there isn’t any Pinnacle quest to grind for this weapon....

Bungie completely reworked Gambit with the launch of The Witch Queen. However, with that rework, the core game mode and objective stayed pretty much the same. After a few weeks of tweaking Gambit, the developers are looking to change it up a bit with the introduction of Gambit Labs. The second altered game mode to be added to the game is called Mote Thief. Fans of the iconic JPRG Disgaea series who are anticipating the worldwide launch of Disgaea 6 Defiance of Destiny next month can sink their teeth into the game early. On May 25 Nintendo announced a free demo of the game will be available for download to all Nintendo Switch owners. As Mario Kart has seemingly inspired the inception of several recent arcade racing games this generation, developer Gameloft SE is joining in on the trend with Disney Speedstorm. Set for release this summer on Nintendo Switch, the driving game was revealed to be a free-to-play title and will include familiar faces from both Disney and Pixar franchises. Revealed during Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct, the first gameplay of Disney Speedstorm highlighted characters such as Mickey, Donald Duck, Captain Jack, and Mulan, all of who were shown battling and racing through a number of tracks based on popular Disney lore....

The support is here, but you probably should play with a different input device. Everspace 2 may be the latest spaceship shooter to enter the market, but that doesn’t necessarily mean HOTAS support was going to be available on day one. The good ole’ “hands of throttle and stick” joysticks are harder to find these days, and they don’t feel great to use in every space-sim out there. It would have been easy for ROCKFISH Games to push HOTAS support off until Everspace 2 was closer to launch, but they instead opted to implement native support for them right out of the Early Access gate....
