Activision Blizzard will hold it’s quarterly earnings call tonight, and many expect that they will also reveal the first details about the Diablo III beta. Last February Mike Morhaime told listeners to the previous quarterly conference call, that he would be divulging more information this time around about Diablo III and the beta for the game. In the vast universe of Final Fantasy spin-offs, Dissidia remains one of the most unique and captivating titles. Its premise is the dream of any hardcore fan: an all-star battle that reunites all of the legendary heroes to fight against a coalition of the most wicked villains of each world. Last week’s release of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age in Japan proved that the franchise is still a behemoth of sales in its homeland. The game sold more than 2 million of copies in its first two days according to Media Create, presenting a surprising parity between the numbers of the 3DS and PS4 versions, the latter becoming the biggest game release on the platform so far. It was also a huge week for hardware sales, with Nintendo 3DS and PS4 benefiting from the game’s release, and Nintendo Switch finally showing signs of more consoles being shipped to stores, almost repeating the same numbers as last week....

Sony is currently holding their press conference at Paris Games Week and one of the big surprises so far was the brand new expansion titled Driveclub Bikes. The big surprise here is not only the game itself, but when it is available. Driveclub Bikes was revealed part the way through Sony’s conference with a debut trailer that shows off some fantastic looking motorcycle racing through the streets and such. It was then revealed that this is technically an expansion for Driveclub, but can also be purchased as a standalone game, which we have seen with other games in the last few years like Infamous: Second Son....

Nuclear Blaze is an upcoming 2D platformer where you play as a firefighter tasked with extinguishing raging fires. It’s by Sébastien Benard, creator of Dead Cells, and you can expect all the same controls and gameplay when it launches on October 18. As a firefighter, you’ll explore the crumbling foundations of a military complex, putting out blazing infernos along the way. Kojima Productions and Sony Interactive Entertainment have revealed the final trailer for Death Stranding Directors Cut, a remaster of the open-world action game and the latest Hideo Kojima release, published on the PlayStation 4 back in 2019. The game has been remastered to take advantage of the PlayStation 5 to offer advanced gameplay combat, a globally connected competitive ranking system, and an extended storyline. This will allow players to explore new locations and take advantage of extra missions and some brand new mini-games....

Aki Saito, head of communications at Kojima Productions, has revealed he could be posting Death Stranding news soon. Saito has shared a tweet where he claims that, upon reaching 20k or 30k followers on Twitter, he will be posting something surprising about the game. “I’m almost gonna hit 10K followers!
