This patch contains several fixes on consoles. Update 1.05 has arrived for Dying Light 2, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. Dying Light 2‘s launch has been a bit rocky to say the least, with players encountering multiple bugs related to crashing, co-op, and progression since the game launched earlier this month. Still, the game is highly enjoyable, and Techland is committed to improving the game going forward....

At this point nobody doubts that the Nintendo Switch is a massive success. The hybrid console launched in March to huge numbers and it still carrying stock issues in markets like Japan. At the same time, Nintendo productions like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and the recent Super Mario Odyssey have earned a place in the list of best sellers of the year. However, its success is not being shared equally among all the companies who have supported the console in its first months, with Electronic Arts even taking the decision of not releasing any more games on the console for now....

Look, DayZ is one of my favorite games ever. It’s easily in my top three most played games in Steam. But there’s no doubt that a lot of work remains on getting DayZ to a place where its potential is fulfilled. Today at Gamescom Bohemia Interactive announced that DayZ would be available in the Xbox One Preview program starting on August 29th. The announcement shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, as DayZ was always destined for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4....

DC Universe Online is finally ready to debut on the Xbox One at PAX East this weekend after spending the last five years on PlayStation platforms and the PC. Daybreak Game Company announced the MMORPG will make its debut Saturday, April 23 at the Boston convention. The official DC Universe Online Twitter account posted the message, “Your story is about to begin on Xbox One” with hashtags for DCUOonXb1 and PAXEast....

The highly anticipated Dead Space Remake is set to be one of the most significant new games of the year. With its release date locked in for January 27, players only have a few short days to catch up on everything about the game. The game’s audio design has also been given a complete overhaul, with new sound effects and an original score that will send chills down the spine of players....

Recently it was revealed that the Trespasser Exotic sidearm from Destiny One would potentially make a reappearance in Destiny 2. The Trespasser Side Arm was accidentally revealed via the Japanese version of This Week at Bungie August 21, 2022. In the Japanese version of This Week at Bungie August 21, 2022, where there was supposed to be a redacted text line, the name Trespasser was instead. Because of this, speculation surrounding the Trespasser Sidearm soon spread, leading many to believe that Trespasser soon return....

Destiny 2’s Shadowkeep has a neat little NASA Easter Egg located on the moon. The Orbital Cartographer Emblem looks very much inspired by the NASA flag, and you can find it in the K1 Logistics Lost Sector. Every Tuesday Destiny 2 resets, giving Guardians new chances to work towards powerful loot drops. You can play in the Crucible, do public events and patrols, complete the Nightfall, and get stomped in Trials of the Nine to get these powerful drops. Nightfall This week’s Nightfall Strike is The Inverted Spire. We should all know this strike well by now, so there shouldn’t be any trouble getting through if you have an experienced fireteam....

Bungie shared a new look of Destiny 2: Lightfall, the next major expansion for the game, at The Game Awards 2022. The trailer featured the new Strand Supers in action, a look at some of the weapons, and watched the newest enemies of Humanity face off against Guardians and even some things they weren’t expecting. The trailer starts by showing off the sheer verticality of Neomuna, the city on Neptune that’s the centerpiece destination of Lightfall....

With the release of Season of the Haunted in Destiny 2 comes the long-awaited return of some fan-favorite weapons. One of those weapons is the Beloved, an energy sniper rifle that will become the star of PvP players’ loadouts everywhere. Beloved is already a fantastic weapon, but it has been given the ability to be crafted, setting it even further than most other sniper rifles in the game. Furthermore, Beloved even comes with a new origin trait, In Excess, which grants players bonus strength and discipline after getting final blows while their super is fully charged....

One announcement from today’s Destiny 2 livestream will be particularly interesting to those who somehow still haven’t played the game, or who have fallen behind on content. With the release of the next expansion, Shadowkeep, on September 17, the base game and all content from the first year will go free-to-play. The PC version of the game will also move from Battle.net to Steam. The free-to-play news is obviously the bigger deal here....

Systems online. The IKELOS weapons from the previous seasons are back in Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph which means we now have a chance to God Roll IKELOS HC v1.0.3. All of the IKELOS weapons, including IKELOS SG v1.0.3, have patterns available to unlock which means crafting the perfect IKELOS HC v1.0.3 God Roll is possible in Destiny 2. IKELOS HC v1.0.3 is an energy Void Hand Cannon with a Precision Frame....

Bungie has just announced the Destiny 2: New Light and the new expansion Shadowkeep have been delayed until October 1. This is extending the wait by about two weeks, so it is hardly a significant delay. In a statement released on their website, Bungie went through the reasons for the delay. This means they are changing some dates to various in-game activities. The World First Race for the Garden of Salvation Raid will now take place on Saturday, October 5....

Fit for a daring escape. Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph has a plethora of great new weapons including Retrofit Escapade which is a power Void Machine Gun. Though not as good as Grenade Launchers this season because of the powerful Artifact mods this season, Machine Guns are always fun to use. After getting enough Deepsight Resonance versions of Retrofit Escapade, you can craft your own God Roll. Retrofit Escapade is fitted with a Rapid-Fire Frame which means it has deeper ammo reserves and reloads faster when the magazine is empty....

Destiny released two weeks ago to incredible sales numbers for both Bungie and Activision. In that time, some gamers have been playing almost nonstop and as a result, one gamer has finally reached level 30 in the game. Destiny provides basically a soft level cap of 20 that you can reach right now through experience, but can be boosted higher than the acquisition of certain armors with light stats on them....

THQ Nordic has announced that Destroy All Humans! is coming to Nintendo Switch. This is the same remake version of the game launched for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in July 2020. The Nintendo Switch version comes packed with all the skins available in the main game and the Skin Pack DLC. The game’s standard version will cost €39.99/$39.99/£34.99 when it launches on June 29. The Destroy All Humans! remake was extremely well received last year....
