Microsoft has revealed via (Major Nelson’s Blog and Xbox Wire) the games coming to Xbox Game Pass for the month of July. For those who haven’t heard, Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s game subscription service which gives players access to a limited selection of games for both the Xbox and PC for a monthly fee. New games are added monthly and some old games are removed after several months of availability. For the first half of July, the new arrivals seem to be a mix of solid Indies and a couple of AAA titles that might have been slept on a bit by the gaming community.

Here’s the list of the games being added in the first two weeks of July for Xbox and PC Game Pass subscribers:

July 4th

  • Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
  • My Time at Portia
  • Undertale (PC Only)

July 11th

  • Blazing Chrome
  • Dead Rising 4
  • LEGO City Undercover (Console Only)
  • Timespinner (PC Only)
  • Unavowed (PC Only)

In addition to the games above, Game Pass members will get access to the Gears 5 multiplayer tech test this month. The tech test gives players access to the new multiplayer mode for Gears 5 that was announced at E3.  Game Pass itself is also on sale for $1 for new subscribers.

The post also noted the games to be removed in July:

  • Aftercharge (July 9th)
  • Warhammer Vermintide 2 (July 10th)
  • LEGO Movie: The Videogame (July 16th)
  • Dandara (July 31st)
  • Dead Rising 2 (July 31st)
  • Hitman Season 1 (July 31st)
  • Metal Slug XX (July 31st)
  • Defense Grid: The Awakening (July 31st)
  • Hexic 2 (July 31st)
  • Iron Brigade (July 31st)

Xbox Game Pass is usually $9.99 (for console users). The service comes with access to the Game Pass Library as well as a 20% discount on games purchases through the Microsoft store.
