Electronic Arts’ digital event EA Play Live 2021 is upon us, and more info about Battlefield 2042 — and possibly a new Dead Space title as well — will be revealed this July 22. To drum up the hype, EA is also running the EA Play Live 2021 Presents Spotlight Series panels, where developers talk and discuss their projects. From Apex updates, new FIFA 22 tech, to indie titles like Lost in Random and It Takes Two. Check out the links to the live stream and the schedules of the event below.

You will be able to watch EA Play Live 2021 on the YouTube stream above. Besides English, the stream will also be presented in German, France, Portuguese (Brazil), and Dutch (Benelux):

The Schedule

EA Play Live 2021 will start streaming on July 22 at 10:00 AM PT / 7:00 PM CET, with WWE superstar Austin Creed hosting the event. The company said that the 40-minutes, fast-paced stream will be focusing on games that are “coming out soon” including Battlefield 2042, Apex Legends, and the first gameplay for indie title Lost in Random, featuring explosive dice battles, time-freezing tactics, and card collection. There are also going to be a few giveaways and “other surprises.” One of the surprises could be the highly-rumored Dead Space revival.

However, leading to the July 22 stream, Electronic Arts has/will be showcasing different panels called EA Play Live Presents Spotlight Series. You can watch the archived and upcoming video panels below:

The Future of First-Person Shooters

EA Play Live 2021 Presents Spotlight Series kicks off with a discussion about Apex Legends and Battlefield 2042. DICE’s General Manager Oskar Gabrielson, DICE LA’s General Manager Christian Grass, Respawn’s Founder and Group GM Vince Zampella, and Apex Game Director Chad Grenier are joined by host Stella Chung from IGN.

For the second Spotlight, Todd Martens of the Los Angeles Times hosted a panel featuring indie developers from EA Originals. Including Josef Fares of Hazelight (It Takes Two), Olov Redmalm of Zoink (Lost in Random), Melissa Phillips and Abubakar Salim of Silver Rain Games, and Guha Bala of Velan (Knockout City).

Madden NFL 22 All-Access: Scouting – How the Community is Shaping Madden NFL 22

Streaming at: July 19 at 4:00 PM PT / 1:00 AM CET.

The third Spotlight live stream focuses on Madden NFL 22, where EA SPORTS’ Seann Graddy, Tom Lischke, and Andre Weingarten come together to discuss how fans impacted the development of Franchise Mode and helped bring highly requested features like Staff Management, weekly game strategy, and a new scenario engine. Along with the first-ever deep dive reveal of the brand new scouting feature update launching this September. The panel will be hosted by Nick Mizesko, longtime play-by-play announcer for the Madden Championship Series.

FIFA Next Gen Gameplay Powered by HyperMotion Technology

Streaming at: July 20 at 10:00 AM PT / 7:00 PM CET.

The company said that this stream will “highlight an extremely cool new addition to an extremely popular and long-running EA SPORTS franchise.” Senior Editor at WIRED UK Amit Katwala will be joined by FIFA 22’s Sam Rivera, Kantcho Doskov, Shaun Pejic, and Global Community Manager Gabriel Zaro.
