The gaming industry has some huge events out there that people love. One of the most famous ones has always been the E3 event. In this event, gamers from all over the world are able to see new games, gameplay, and just a ton of announcements. Sadly, the upcoming E3 event of 2023 won’t be as big as previous ones. According to some sources, the attendees’ list for the E3 event of 2023 won’t include PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo. This is something huge as these companies were always there in the past. But, with the individual showcases these companies are doing, it isn’t that crazy either.

E3 is Scheduled for June 2023, But PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo is Not Attending

E3 of 2023 will run from June 13 to June 16. We can expect to get some trailers, announcements, gameplay from upcoming games, and more during this time. But it would seem that none of the big games out there might make it. While some third-party titles might appear, the lack of E3 attendees for 2023 might affect the show’s quality. Right now, the three big companies stick to their own showcases, which might be why they’re skipping this event.

The Hype starts now. 👀#E32023 will take place in person from June 13-16 in the Los Angeles Convention Center with separated business and consumer days and areas.

Xbox and Bethesda Presents Developer Direct Livestream

It isn’t too crazy to see these companies not showing up for the event. PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo have all their own showcases. When it comes to costs, it is a lot cheaper to host one on their own. This might be the reason why all of them won’t show up at the E3 event of 2023. Still, it is sad to see that one of the biggest gaming events ever will see a reduction in its participants. Back in 2016, it was a huge thing, but now the Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards rule the market. But we’re still excited about what we might see when the event comes in June.
