Nintendo showed off some great new gameplay for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, revealing lots of new things for gamers to sink their teeth into. The game is set to launch for Wii U and NX next year, and you can check out the new trailer at the bottom of this post.
Here’s the rundown from the trailer’s description:
“Step into a world of discovery, exploration and adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a boundary-breaking new game in the acclaimed series. Travel across fields, through forests and to mountain peaks as you discover what has become of the ruined kingdom of Hyrule in this stunning open-air adventure.”
Throughout the trailer you really get the sense of the more open-world focus that Breath of the Wild will be taking compared to previous games in the series. Link can chop and climb trees to gather supplies and food, and there’s a much bigger emphasis on exploration overall.
More information for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be coming throughout E3, though in the meantime you can check out the game’s official trailer below.
