Dark Souls 3 was no secret during the weeks leading up to E3 2015, but finally seeing it revealed and in action made all the difference. The upcoming From Software/Bandai Namco title will be the third in the series, but it seems to take a lot from the first Dark Souls and the recent From Software/Miyazaki title, Bloodborne.

The Dark Souls 3 demo we witnessed at E3 was behind closed doors and sadly no footage was allowed. However, we were able to talk about what we saw. We will have a full detailed impressions write up very soon. It was great to see the game in action which proves that From Software are pretty far along in development.

Players will be thrown into this post-apocalyptic type of world that the Dark Souls universe has become. They will utilize new tactics and abilities to overcome a large castle that From Software emphasizes is completely explorable. A co-op mechanic that hasn’t really been fleshed out as far as information, but it appears to support multiple players like Bloodborne and Dark Souls 2: Scholar Of The First Sin. Check out our demo reaction below where myself and Kyle were completely taken aback by how good the game looked.
