Dying Light 2 has finally debuted across all platforms, giving fans of Dying Light and open-world games more content to sink their teeth into. With plenty of regions and things to do in the world of The City, you’ll be working away at the game for hours if you want (though shorter if that’s what you prefer). One of the many things you can do is side quests, with one of the side quests being the Princess in the Tower side quest. Given that there are some fairly unorthodox solutions you must use, you may be left a bit confused. No need to worry though as, in this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete the Princess in the Tower side quest.

How to Complete The Princess in the Tower Quest in Dying Light 2

First of all, it’s important to note that you’ll have to wait until nighttime once starting the quest to complete it. This means sticking to the rooftops on your way to the locations. Once done, head to the marker and head inside the building. Should you be running into any issue getting into the building, it can either be done through the front door (though it’ll be somewhat difficult), or you can head in through the roof. No matter which way you choose, head into the building and traverse as you see fit. What you’re looking for here is a UV light on the ground, as this is right next to the door.

Once you find said UV light, interact with the door to not find Timur, but rather the woman’s brother who locked her in her apartment in the first place. It turns out that Timur and the others were bitten and turned already, with her brother being the only survivor. He’s simply been too scared to tell her the truth, as he believes she’ll simply blame him and will refuse to speak to him. This leaves you with an ultimatum: Tell her that her brother is there and that her friends and boyfriend are dead, or keep the lie so her brother can tell her later. These choices won’t matter much in the end though, seeing as this side quest doesn’t have an effect on the main story. Once making that choice, you will have completed the Princess in the Tower quest in Dying Light 2!

Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
