Dying Light 2 has just debuted, letting you and up to three friends descend upon The City and wreak havoc as you see fit. With so many side activities to take part in, and plenty of story content to work through, there’s a lot you can do before being done with the game. With that being said, you sort of need to be in the same game to enjoy all that content with your friends. And having constant disconnects doesn’t do anyone any favors. The Network Disconnected issue in Dying Light 2 is just one way to stop you from doing just that, but you may be confused when anything you do to fix it doesn’t work. Well, there’s some good news and some bad news for you.
The Dying Light 2 Network Disconnected Issue Explained
The good news for this issue is that it’s not the fault of either you or your friends, so you can stop doing 300 different things with your routers and device connections to try and fix it. Instead, it’s on the side of developer Techland and some technical issues coming with the immediate launch. The bad news is ironically the same as the good news, as that means there’s no way to fix the current issues as the team hasn’t deployed a fix or workaround just yet. That’s to be expected though, as the game just released late yesterday and still needs the team to have time to diagnose key issues like this. In the meantime, I’d personally avoid playing the game with friends so that Techland can iron out the issues and hopefully fix the Network Disconnected issue with Dying Light 2. That way, we can get to do what we signed up for: slaughter zombies with your friends and fail 100 jumps.
