Dying Light 2 is a game that includes many new features not seen in the first Dying Light game. For reasons that can’t be explained due to delving into spoiler territory (though you probably know why if you’re reading this), Inhibitors allow your character to improve either Stamina or Health, with Health opening up the Combat tree and Stamina opening up the Parkour tree. Given their rarity though, you may be confused as to how you can get more. No need to worry though as, in this guide, we’ll show you how to get more inhibitors in Dying Light 2!
How to Get More Inhibitors in Dying Light 2
For starters, even if this should be a given, make sure that you’ve completed the linear parts of the game towards the beginning. This will include the first two hours, where your allies simply lead you around on various quests to get you accustomed and back up to shape. One that’s done though, you’ll have a Biomarker and be able to locate Inhibitors throughout the world. These won’t be marked on the map though, and instead have to be found. There are some hints to help you though. First of all, as you traverse rooftops, your Biomarker will give an audio indicator saying something along the lines of “Inhibitor Container Nearby”. That’s admittedly not the exact quote, but you can’t miss it.
Once you hear that, you’ll want to check the building you heard the indicator at. These will generally be inside said building, so you’re going to need to go on a scavenger hunt. Once you begin to hear beeping, you’ll know you’ve gotten closer. Then, once you finally find a container like the one pictured above, you’ve found it. Inside you’ll find not only the Inhibitor, but some free loot as well. Now, you can level up your Health or Stamina and, if you’re anything like me, fall off a roof and get swarmed by zombies! Regardless, I hope this helped you get more inhibitors in Dying Light 2!
