Dying Light 2 features plenty of ways for players to get around The City and its open/enclosed spaces. Whether it be through the ziplines dotted around the map, high jumps from rooftop to rooftop, or simply dashing your way through the streets without much thought given, there are plenty of options to make your way around. There’s even more available in the Parkour skill tree, such as wall running and faster jumping over obstacles. With that being said though, you’ll need something a little more practical for areas in the Central Loop, and thankfully, the game doesn’t waste any time giving you access to it. Here’s how you can get yourself a Paraglider in Dying Light 2!
How to Get a Paraglider in Dying Light 2
For starters, you’ll want to progress through the main story missions until you finally reach the Central Loop. This will take a good chunk of time, but you’re looking for the start of the mission after “Lets Waltz” where you head to the Car Factory to try and stop Waltz’s plans. Once you’ve finally made it here, keep following the Sniper (also known as Lawan), until you make it to a rooftop in its accompanying cutscene. Once up there, she’ll pass you the Paraglider to help traverse the neighboring rooftops!
To activate your Paraglider, you’ll need to press the corresponding button (Z by default on PC) when falling in mid-air, then glide using your directional kids (with S levelling you out). It’s also important to note that you’ll need to head over to vents if you want to stay in the air for an extended period of time. Without them, you’ll fall to the ground well before you reach your destination. As long as you keep those facts in mind, gliding across The City should be a breeze, no pun intended.
