Dying Light 2 has today debuted its February 16 PC update on the listed platform, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch! Today’s patch, unlike the previous one, only has a couple of notes to talk about. Though to its credit, that was a chunky update that brought a lot to the table. As far as today’s update goes, the three changes will be quite massive depending on what you want out of your Dying Light 2 experience. And especially if you’ve found yourself falling victim to the absolutely terrible death-loop bug. As such, let’s not waste more time. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Dying Light 2 in its February 16 PC update!

Dying Light 2 February 16 PC Update Patch Notes

  • Fix for the death-loop bug. It prevents players from new cases and fixes the existing ones.
  • Added Backup Save system that allows players to rollback the game progress and their inventory to the last game’s secure storyline save point.
  • Added support for the BLOCK, ACTIVE LANDING, and JUMP ATTACK rebindings on the keyboard.

As said, in terms of total notes there’s only three, but these three changes are major. For one, like said the death-loop issue has been tackled further on PC to prevent major issues for players. There’s also new key rebindings, furthering accessibility and letting more people enjoy the game. Perhaps the biggest change though is the Backup Save system, which I’ll let the patch notes themselves explain:

All in all, a great update which brings plenty to those who wanted a more stable experience.

Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. For more information regarding this update, check out the official Twitter post.
