Immensely popular streamer and Team Rogue’s Benjamin Lupo, AKA DrLupo, has signed a new multi-year contract with ReKTGlobal. Lupo had been apart of Team Rogue for years and is the captain of Rogue’s Fortnite squad.

ReKTGlobal is a global esports organization and is a parent company of Team Rogue. DrLupo will now be the face of Rogue and ReKTGlobal. This move to stay with Rogue makes sense for everyone involved, especially when you look at the Twitch streamer’s work away from the controller.

DrLupo was one of TIME’s 25 Most Influential People on the internet. Again, this is not just due to his fantastic play in games like Fortnite and PUBG. Lupo has also done amazing charitable work, helping net $920,343.98 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital back in June. Oh, and this nearly $1 million raised was done in just 4 and a half hours.

Today, gaming raised $920,343.98 in 4 hours and 30 minutes. ❤️?

CEO of ReKTGlobal Dave Bialek discussed Lupo’s character and why he is the new face of Rogue in a statement:

Derek Nelson, CEO of Rogue, stated that negotiating this new extension was an easy task to accomplish. Thankfully, it looks like this deal went smoother than what’s currently going on with Disney and Sony:

“His family values and support for Rogue and ReKTGlobal make him the only choice to serve at the face of our growing organization. We are thrilled to have him as an integral part of the company.”

In a statement, Lupo expressed his excitement to resign with Rogue and the Rogue Nation community as a bigger part of the brand. He describes Rogue and ReKTGlobal as “goal-oriented without losing focus on what is most important in gaming: fun”.
