When it comes to a driving series like Gran Turismo, a ton of Japanese cars are available to play in the game. As for Driveclub, it appears most of the cars will only be from European manufacturers.
DualShockers reported Game Director Paul Rustchynsky gave a behind the doors presentation on Driveclub at Gamescom. A lot of new details were revealed about the game including the 50 cars that will be available on the game’s launch this October.
Rustchynsky sadly revealed there will be no Japanese cars available in time for Driveclub’s launch. Most of the cars in the game will be of European makes. If you are a Japanese car fan, you might want to wait before buying Driveclub as none of them will be available on release date.
However, Evolution Studios is currently in talks with many Japanese car manufacturers to add them in Driveclub as future DLC. Some of the cars will be paid DLC, while some will be offered for free. If you are a huge Japanese car nut, you are better to buy Driveclub once the DLC is available shortly after the game’s release.
Driveclub comes out from October 7th in North America and October 8th in Europe exclusively for the PS4.
