It wasn’t too long ago that Dragon’s Crown Pro was confirmed for a Feb. 2018 release, and fans in the West will be glad to know they won’t have to wait much longer before they can also revisit Hydeland, as the game is officially set to arrive in the West early next year.
Atlus has announced that the remaster for 2013’s hit beat ’em up is headed to the West in Spring 2018, only a few months after a leaked banner of it showed up on Japanese website Nico Nico back in September. It will cost $49.99 / $64.99 CAD / €49.99.
To recap, Dragon’s Crown Pro is mostly a visual and audio update, featuring 4K resolution support, a newly recorded soundtrack via live orchestra, cross-play with the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions (w/ save data importing) and dual audio support. Neither Atlus or Vanillaware has made any mention of new in-game content that would be coming in this version, meaning the only new feature the game has will be the Treasure of Demon Island add-on.
Dragon’s Crown Pro will arrive on the PlayStation 4 on Feb. 8, 2018 in Japan, while the West will be able to get in on the action at some point during Spring 2018.
