Nintendo Switch players, it is your turn to take on the demonic hellscape that is Doom Eternal. Bethesda has announced that the Doom sequel is coming digitally to Switch in early December.

This release of Doom Eternal will be the same version available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, including the 2v1 Battlemode multiplayer suite. While things will remain mostly the same, this version does support gyroscopic motion controls. It has been developed with Panic Button, who has helped bring a handful of Bethesda ports to the Nintendo Switch.

Those who purchase Doom Eternal from release up until December 22nd will receive extra goodies. Those goodies included the game itself, a digital download code for Doom 64, and Rip & Tear’ content pack, featuring skins and a special version of the Cultist Base Master campaign level.

DLC for Doom Eternal, The Ancients Gods: Part 1, is already out for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, but it will not be available on Nintendo Switch until a later date.

Doom Eternal will be available digitally for the Nintendo Switch on December 8th, 2020. As of right now, a physical release is not being planned or scheduled.
