DONTNOD’s collaboration with Bandai Namco has been revealed.

DONTNOD Entertainment, the developer most known for 2015’s Life is Strange, just released their new action-RPG Vampyr a few days ago, and they’re not wasting any time making sure they stay on the forefront of gamers’ minds. During Sony’s countdown to E3, DONTNOD’s next game, Twin Mirror, was announced.

A while ago, DONTNOD announced that they were working on a new IP to be published by Bandai Namco. Today (June 8), it was revealed that the new IP is Twin Mirror, which is due sometime in 2019. The game is a narrative-driven adventure game that tells the story of a man who returns to his childhood home for his best friend’s funeral, amidst a tough break-up, when strange events suddenly turn his life into a mystery thriller. He awakens one day in his hotel room with his shirt covered in blood and no memory of the night before, so now he has to figure out what happened.

The first two days of Sony’s countdown to E3 revealed Tetris Effect and the release date of Days Gone. At Sony’s E3 press briefing, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding and The Last of Us Part II will be detailed.

Twin Mirror will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC next year. You can watch the game’s announcement trailer below.
