Retro Studios’ new game has been revealed as Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for the Wii U. Just announced on this morning’s Nintendo Direct. This new Donkey title revolves around Vikings taking over Donkey Kong island. Tropical Freeze is being billed as the first HD Donkey Kong title.
Playable in Tropical Freeze, Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong, alongside dynamic camera angles, Nintendo is touting a new gameplay experience for Donkey Kong fans.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will arrive later in 2013.
