The PlayStation Experience event is happening this week, although don’t get too excited if you are a Tekken 7 fan. There might not be any big news on Bandai Namco’s upcoming fighting game.

A fan asked the game’s producer, Katsuhiro Harada, on Twitter if there will be any important news about Tekken 7 at the PlayStattion Experience event this weekend.

Harada replied with: “I think not this time.” I guess this means we may not hear of a PS4 release date for the game or anything that is groundbreaking or big.

However, Harada is attending PlayStation Experience as he will be a part of a fighting game panel. The panel also includes Street Fighter V’s Yoshinori Ono and Seth Killian.

Tekken 7 already had big news earlier in the year at Paris Games Week. It was confirmed then that the game will be out for PS4 and will also support the PlayStation VR headset.

The game is available to play at the arcades. The console version is set to have improved graphics and possibly more characters too. The PS4 version is also getting exclusive content. An Xbox One version of the game is yet to be confirmed yet.

Hopefully Harada at least mentions something new about Tekken 7 at PlayStation Experience. Any new news is better than just telling us things we know already.
