According to Variety, Dolph Lundgren will be the executive producer of a documentary based on his life. Best known for his roles in Rocky IV, Creed II, and Universal Soldier, the autodocumentary, named Dolph, will show how Lundgren came to the United States from Sweden to rise to the ranks of an uber action star in Hollywood.
He Must Break You
Red Orm Productions, Lundgren’s own production company, will be producing Dolph alongside Famous Red Car Pictures and Score G Productions. Shane Fennessey and Adam Scorgie will be the lead producers, with Andrew Holmes scribing the script and directing the project; Holmes sounded very excited when he spoke about the upcoming documentary:
There were murmurs before of a Lundgren documentary, but since that production could never get the rights to the action star’s life, it never came to be. That documentary is not related to Dolph but instead seems to be Lundgren taking initiative and making it with his own production company.
Most of us know Lundgren as an action star, but what might be taking center stage in the documentary is going to be all the things he has done that don’t involve acting like the fact that he earned his Master’s degree in chemical engineering, is an accomplished martial artist, a successful author, and that, according to MENSA, he has an I.Q. of 160.
