Genshin Impact has a large world, so getting around it can be tough from time to time. One of the ways the devs made traversing Inazuma easier was by allowing players to use the Waverider. This boat allows you to quickly traverse the ocean, making it easy to get around.
No, the Waverider actually won’t despawn regardless of where you leave it. Once you get out of your Waverider, it won’t move from the spot you left it unless you use a Waypoint to summon it to your location. Otherwise, you will have to get in the boat and move it yourself.
Once you can leave Inazuma with the Waverider, you can leave it parked next to the domain in Guyun Stone Forest. This makes it easy to get back and forth from the Geo Hypostatsis, something that was frustrating to players for over a year.
It does take several minutes to sail the Waverider to this location, but it’s worth it for the easy access it grants you to the Geo boss. It seems that Inazuma is the only nation we will be using the Waverider in so far, so after you complete your tasks there, be sure to place your Waverider in Liyue.
