Dying Light 2 takes place in a harsh world with hostile infected, and relentless bandits that hunt players. These enemies are a constant in this survival horror game, offering a challenge to those who dare face them. Players may die during their time with Dying Light 2, but does failing encounters impact the experience.
Failing encounters in Dying Light 2 doesn’t alter gameplay much during the day. Players respawn at the nearest checkpoint without losing any of their resources, items, or weapons in the process. Users can rest easy knowing that death doesn’t leave a lasting impression.
Dying at night is a bit more impactful, as the Night-Time Bonus that players rack up vanishes when they die after the sun sets in Dying Light 2. Night-Time Bonuses give additional Combat, and Parkour experience for every action played during the evening. Any extra experience that users stockpile deposits once day breaks provided they stay alive. Dying before sunrise causes Night-Time Bonuses to reset, setting player progression back.
