Four of Batman’s apprentices are available to play as in Gotham Knights, each with their own attributes. It has caused many fans to wonder whether they can play with friends over a multiplayer network or split-screen.

Is Gotham Knights co-op?

There is a four-player Brawl mode and a two-player cooperative mode in Gotham Knights. The co-op is only available in Story Mode, and the game does not support more than two players.

Furthermore, there is no option for split-screen or couch co-op in Gotham Knights. This was revealed in a press release to Business Wire, with the exact wording for multiplayer being “a two-player, online cooperative experience.”

Does Gotham Knights have cross-play?

Gotham knights will not support online cross-play. To play with your friends, you must have the same console. You also need to have Xbox Gold or PlayStation Plus to play with friends.

Can two people pick the same character in Gotham Knights?

In an interview with IGN, creative director Patrick Redding said that players could definitely pick the same character in Gotham Knights. He gave Batgirl as an example and said that the builds could be so distinct that it would feel like you’re playing as different characters, even though both players picked Batgirl.

So, if you want to play as a particular gender or character, no compromises are necessary.
