While Astral Chain is primarily a singleplayer experience, there is a co-op mode if you feel like taking on some invading bad guys with a friend. In this guide, we show you how to play co-op in Astral Chain.
How To Play Co-op in Astral Chain
In Astral Chain, you can play co-op by having one player control the main character, while the other commands their Legion companion. You need to carefully co-operate to get the most out of the game this way and need to be in tune while fighting.
To begin co-op, open the main menu at any time using the minus button. Then, scroll to the co-op tab. Click on “Begin Co-op Play,” and then pair the two controllers by hitting the R and L bumpers. To quit co-op, the player controlling the main character needs to go back into the menu to turn it off. Select “End co-op play” from the same menu where you started.
Remember, the highlight of Astral Chain is the nuanced combat as you control the interactions between the main character and their Legion. Make sure you focus on working together during co-op play to get the most out of the experience. You’ll need to pick your targets and let the other player know your intentions if you want to dish out the most damage possible, and not die a lot in the process.
