Disney Infinity 3.0 hasn’t even been officially announced, but many expected it, partially due to a rumor that was making the rounds earlier this month. Now it seems we have confirmation from a German retailer with pictures that show a starter set.
A Star Wars set for Disney Infinity 3.0 has surfaced on German retailer, Saturn which shows the product on sale for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360. The retailers image was screen captured by All Games Beta, to show the find. We were able to track down the page which still exists. It looks like Disney Infinity 3.0 will launch with a Star Wars starter set which includes characters from the recent Star Wars television shows. Specifically Anakin and Ahsoka figures.
Now it seems that an announcement is imminent as last year they announced Disney Infinity 2.0 just a few weeks out from E3 2014. Now with E3 2015 just around the corner it seems that Disney may be ready to get an announcement ready if they have sent pictures of the sets to retailers worldwide. The tentative release date listed at Saturn is August 8th, 2015.
It is good to finally see Star Wars and Disney Infinity pair up and hopefully we will be able to just buy the figures and not have to upgrade all over again just to play the new Star Wars line. We should be hearing some sort of confirmation in the coming weeks regarding Disney Infinity 3.0
