Popular streaming platform Disney+ continues its growth spree in the first quarter of 2021. The company recently announced that its global subscriber base has jumped to 94.9 million subscribers. This is an impressive feat as Disney+ gained over 21 million new subscribers in the quarter ended on 2nd January, 2021. The streaming platform had close to 74 million subscribers in the previous quarter.
Further, the appeal of MCU universe TV shows and movies could see more users fess up money to enjoy the content. Disney+ Hotstar also has IPL and other sporting live events under its belt.
