Quests easily keep players busy in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Although many of them relate to the overall storyline, several are only accessible depending on your Friendship Level with certain characters. Take Mother Gothel, for instance. “My Kingdom for a Scroll” Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As we explained above, you must raise Mother Gothel’s Friendship Level in Disney Dreamlight Valley if you want a stab at a new quest. Once you have completed her initial questline, “The Curse,” she’s free from that tree, and you can share gifts with her like other companions.

Eventually, you’ll raise her to Friendship Level 2, and “My Kingdom for a Scroll” will unlock. Mother Gothel will talk to you about restoring the Giant Willow in the Glade of Trust. To do so, she mentions the Sun’s Scroll, which leads to the magical object known as the Sunstone.

To complete “My Kingdom for a Scroll” in Disney Dreamlight Valley, we’ve laid out the general steps to take. Below the list, we’ve offered a deeper explanation to guide you through each step:

  • Speak to Mother Gothel and Scrooge
  • Install a Micberry Tree and speak to Scrooge

In Step 1, after the startup conversation with Mother Gothel, you must head to Scrooge’s shop. You will ask him about the Sun’s Scroll, but he refuses to help unless you plant the Micberry Tree for him.

Onto Step 2 for “My Kingdom for a Scroll” in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must craft the Micberry Tree by gathering the following items:

  • x50 Softwood (on the ground in every biome except Dazzle Beach || Kristoff’s store for 5 Star Coins)
  • x30 Soil (via digging in every biome except Dazzle Beach)
  • x1 Box of Electronic Components (WALL-E’s house)

With that crafted and placed outside Scrooge’s shop, speak to him again. He’ll explain how the Sun’s Scroll is in a chest buried on Dazzle Beach. However, the key is in the water in the Glade of Trust.

In Step 3, you must head to the Glade of Trust. If you go to the right, you’ll notice an orange glow in the water. Fish here for the key. From there, you’re closer to the end of the “My Kingdom for a Scroll” Disney Dreamlight Valley quest.

With the key in hand, you can begin Step 4 and go to Dazzle Beach. Go to the mystical cave, as the chest is buried close to the entrance to it. Now, you can return to Mother Gothel and conclude the “My Kingdom for a Scroll” quest.
