Whether players are attempting to clear a Dreamlight Duty or cook up a Villager’s Favorite Thing of the Day, Spinach will be an ingredient that Dreamers eventually need in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Recipe-wise, Spinach is currently only used in the iconic Kronk’s Spinach Puffs from The Emperor’s New Groove. However, more recipes might be added in the future as the game receives its Early Access updates. As for Duties, it is possible that Spinach could come up in a specific task or be included in a general objective, such as “Harvest 0/50 Crops.” Whatever the case, knowing how to get Spinach can be useful in Dreamlight Valley.

Finding Spinach in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To get Spinach in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must unlock the Glade of Trust, the biome that sits southwest of the Peaceful Meadow and across the waterfall south of the Sunlit Plateau. After rebuilding Goofy’s Stall in the area, players can purchase Spinach and Spinach Seeds. They can then plant one Spinach plant for a three-stack yield in one hour.

To unlock the Glade of Trust, players will need to have acquired 5,000 Dreamlight magic for removing the Night Thorns at the biome’s entrance. While optional, it would also be ideal for newcomers to unlock Dazzle Beach and the Forest of Valor before gaining access to the Glade of Trust. Dreamlight magic is primarily obtained as a reward for completing Dreamlight Duties. Players should not have to worry about saving up for the Glade, as most of the activities they do by default will net them sufficient Dreamlight to unlock the biome.

If players are looking to maximize their Spinach yield in Disney Dreamlight Valley, then bringing along a Villager with the Gardening Skill would be a good idea. As players increase their Friendship Level with Gardening NPCs, the chance that their harvest will be multiplied will significantly increase. Conversely, if Dreamers ever find themselves with too much Spinach, they should remember that Spinach is categorized as a Vegetable. In other words, any cooking recipe with “Any Vegetable” in its list of ingredients can have Spinach used in its place in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
