After helping Minnie Mouse return to the Village in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Dreamers are tasked with helping Mickey find a “secret door” during the Friendship Quest “The Secret Door.” Once players start the quest, they can speak with Mickey to receive a quest item known as the Magical Chest. Being unable to open the chest, Mickey believes the player protagonist possesses the power to unlock the contents of this container. To open the Magical Chest, open the Inventory screen and “Use” the chest to receive one of Mickey’s Memory in the form of an image, revealing the secret door in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Finding The Secret Door In Disney Dreamlight Valley
After opening the Magical Chest in “The Secret Door” in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can speak with Mickey again to receive a riddle, “Towers and turrets you will behold. Within: a door for things new and old.” This riddle indicates that the secret door is located within Dream Castle, north of the Plaza.
How to Cook Tasty Salad in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After speaking with Mickey and checking the memory of the secret door once more in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can make their way to Dream Castle at the heart of the Valley. According to gameplay footage by Game Guides Channel, the secret door can be found on the right side of the interior from the lobby’s entryway. After entering the castle, walk over to the row of tall potted hedges on the right. Players will notice right away that one of the bushes has been slightly moved to the back, creating a gap where a person could slip through to the alcove by the winding stairwell.
Accordingly, walk between the bushes and walk to the wall in the back where a purple curtain hangs, draping over a doorway-shaped opening. The action pop-up “Check” will appear, allowing Dreamers to interact with the mysterious curtain. With the curtain pulled away, the secret door of Dream Castle will now be visible in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Mickey will state that this special door cannot be opened with a key. Instead, players will need to collect Gemstones and place them into the slots of the door. Therefore, solving this puzzle is similar to completing the first Magic Gate of the Mystical Cave on Dazzle Beach.
