Disney Channel Stars Such as Debby Ryan and Alyson Stoner Will Unite for a Very Un-Disney-Like Film
It’s a known fact that Disney is very instrumental in the public persona of their child stars. Alyson Stoner, Debby Ryan, Matthew Scott Montgomery, and Tim Bagley have taken very different directions with their careers. Alyson Stoner reprised her role as a backup dancer for Missy Elliot at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards and has done voice acting for other Disney projects. Debby Ryan was on the Netflix series Insatiable and the film Night Teeth. Unlike the other Disney Channel stars, Matthew Scott Montgomery has tried his hand at screenwriting for the LGBTQ+ horror thriller film Howdy, Neighbor!. Kevin Chamberlin is a veteran actor and has been on Broadway and starred in the Netflix film adaptation The Prom. The LGBTQ+ horror-thriller Howdy, Neighbor! shows that the Disney channel stars keep in touch.
There is no release date for Montgomery’s upcoming film.
