As least one person in the world has watched an early version of Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens and that’s Disney CEO Bob Iger.

CNBC had a chance to speak with Iger on numerous topics, and Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens was brought up. He has admitted that he has watched the film already.

Iger saw the film without John William’s music and most of the special effects were not added yet too. However even with this rough but, he said he cannot “wait for the world to see it“.

Iger’s interview also alluded to the fact that merchandising the movie has been a huge part of Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens. He said as important as the merchandise is, the most important thing is the movie itself. Consumers will only buy lots of products if the movie turns out to be good first.

A lot of merchandise for the film has already been created. LEGO, Hot Toys and Hasbro have a number of toys that have all been revealed already. Most of the consumer toys will be available in September.

On the gaming front, some movie content will also be added as DLC in Star Wars Battlefront as well. This content will be available a few days before the film comes out on December 18th, 2015.

There are likely more consumer products that will have the Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens branding as well. I’ve seen a soda can in Mexico and even a toy basketball set too.
